GRIDLEY- Verna Gerig, 90, formerly of Gridley, died on May 27, 2015 in Arvada, CO.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday June 14, 2015 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Pastor Deborah Bell will officiate. Inurnment will be private for the family at Waldo Township Cemetery, Gridley.
Memorials may be made to The Denver Hospice.
Verna was born on February 26, 1925. She married Ron Gerig and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Surviving are her children, Val (Paul) Snellenberger; Tim Gerig; Dr. Nel Gerig; (Greg Elliot); 6 grandchildren, Amy and Ryan Snellenberger, Stacey Hempstead, Matt and Sarah Gerig, Parker Elliot; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is in charge of local arrangements.
