Terry Smith

Terry Lynn Smith, 68, formerly of Hudson and more recently of Ash Flat, Arkansas died March 1, 2017 at the Eagle Crest Nursing and Rehab Home in Ash Flat, Arkansas. He lived in the Hudson area before moving to Arkansas with his parents.
He was born on February 16, 1949 in Bloomington, IL a son of Leo and Nora Waller Smith. He is survived by an older brother Larry (Marge) Smith of Gridley. He is also survived by a nephew Michael (Tanni) Smith of Saybrook and their 5 children. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Terri attended Unit 5 schools before moving to Arkansas. He was a collector of unique items and shared many of them with his friends over the years. Terry never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all of his friends and acquaintances.
The Smith family would like to thank the staff at the Eagle Crest Nursing facility in Ash Flat, Arkansas and Legacy Hospice for all the attention and care in Terry's last months. Their attention to Terry's needs eased his last months with us.
The family would also like to thank Rev. Patty Schaller for her weekly meetings with Terry. They were always uplifting and he looked forward to her visits.
Graveside Services will be at the Hudson Cemetery at 1 PM on March 6, 2017. Rev. Randy Reese will officiate. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
