Shirley Zivney

Shirley Ruth Zivney 87, of Normal, formerly of Minonk, IL, passed away on October 29, 2018 at Advocate Bromenn Hospital in Normal, IL. She was born on November 13, 1930 in Streator, IL to the late Louis (Ruth Schneider) Jochums. She married Shirley E. Zivney on October 7, 1951 in Minonk, IL. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2012.
She is survived by 2 sons Joseph Zivney of Lovington, IL and Gregory (Diane) Zivney of Yuma, AZ; 1 Daughter Nan Zivney of Milwaukee, WI; 1 Brother John "Jack" (Joan) Jochums of Minonk, IL; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister June Bell and a daughter-in-law Shelia Zivney.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk from 1-2pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2pm on Friday at the funeral home. Reverend Kenneth Harris will officiate. Burial will follow at Minonk Township Cemetery.
