Shirley Osborne

Shirley E. Osborne, Lacon, IL died on Feb. 19th at
St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Lacon. She was born in Peoria, on Dec.
4, 1923 to Clarence E. and Lucille Clark Osborne. She married Joe
Osborne on August 23, 1942. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11,
1992.


She graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria. She is survived
by her three children Debbie (Archie) Gauwitz of Climax Springs,
MO; Joe (Bev) Osborne of Lacon; and Barbara (Russell) Lester of
Clinton, IL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren and her brother William C. (Elsie) Osborne of
Dunlap.


Shirley was a City Treasurer for Lacon and employed at the Lacon
Home Journal. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary in
Lacon.


Cremation rights have been accorded with a memorial service to be
held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Nursing
Home.Lenz Memorial Home is assisting the family with their
arrangements.
