Sharris Garrels

Sharris I. Garrels, 76, of El Paso, IL passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Heritage Health Nursing Home in El Paso.
She was born on April 6, 1942 in Peoria, IL a daughter of John L. and Ida Porter Toureene. She married Randel C. "Randy" Garrels on December 23, 1962 in Secor, IL. He survives.
Survivors also include one son, John C. (Lisa) Garrels of Isle of Palms, SC; two grandsons, Randy L. (Cassie) Garrels; Jonathan J. (Ashley) Garrels; one granddaughter, Megan L. Garrels; five step-grandchildren, Keera(Dustin) Stanford; Kayla Barnard, Andy(Jessica) Barnard; Chelsea Barnard; Luke Barnard; 10 great grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Pastor Wes Ooms will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2019 from 11-1p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in El Paso.
