Roger Harrison

Roger E. Harrison, 66, of Gridley, died at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at his home.

He was born August 10, 1949 in Bloomington, IL to Hollis and Gracie Louise Burgess Harrison. He married Sheree Eads in Union, MO in 1985. She survives.

Also surviving are 2 sons Roger (Marilyn) Harrison, Jr. of Mooreville, MS; Kristopher Harrison of Normal, IL; 1 brother Marlon Harrison; 3 grandchildren, Makayla, Andrew and Lily Harrison; and 1 step-granddaughter Sarah Beth Strike.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Bradley Ryan Harrison, and 1 brother Ronald Harrison.

Roger was a U.S. Army veteran. He last worked in Human Resources at Heartland Community College V.A. Center. He also attended there and was one semester away from getting his Sociology degree.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Community Bible Fellowship Church in El Paso. Pastor Wes Ooms will officiate. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to services at the church from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday. Cremation will be accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family for final expenses at the church during the service time.
