Normal - Randall D. Stevenson, 61, of Normal, formerly of Lexington, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Lexington Cemetery in Lexington with Tyler Klein officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
Randall was born on February 27, 1956 in Bloomington, a son to Ralph Dean and Shirley A. Compton Stevenson. He married Theda Armstrong on December 21, 1974. He married Nicole Kaplan on July 14, 1984. Randall and Theda remarried on May 6, 2000. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2016.
Surviving is his mother, Shirley Olson of Normal; son, Ryan Stevenson of Las Vegas, NV; step daughter, Sheila Kuck of Macomb; grandson, Max Swedeen of Macomb; brother, Richard (Connie Xanders) Burk of Lexington; two half brothers, Bradley Stevenson and Grant Stevenson, both of Bloomington; mother in-law, Lola Martin of Boonville, MO; and good friends, Jim and Lisa Dillard of Greeneville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; brother, Rodney Burk and sister, Cheryl Armstrong.
Randall proudly served in the United States Army.
He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend and will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be directed to the family or OSF Hospice.
