Patricia J. Klopfenstein, 57, of Gridley, died at 9:03 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 25, 1958 in Normal, IL to Carlton J. "Carsh" and Betty (Koehl) Klopfenstein. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are her two brothers Gary (Candice) Klopfenstein of Chicago and Paul Klopfenstein of Bloomington; one niece Laine Klopfenstein and one nephew Joel Klopfenstein both of Chicago.
Patricia graduated from Mennonite School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She worked as an RN locally for many years before becoming an executive assistant and medical transcriptionist.
Patricia loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She was so passionate about flowers she earned her master gardener certificate and she volunteered at Sarah's Garden at the David Davis Mansion in Bloomington. She also loved spending time with family, especially her niece and nephew. Patricia was a loving sister and aunt and was deeply loved by her family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will forever be missed. She attended Grace Church in Normal where services will be held.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Grace Church in Normal. Pastor Ed Scearce will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Moriah Foundation in Normal.
