Oma Hospelhorn

Hudson-Oma L. Hospelhorn, 96, of Hudson, IL passed away at 8:23 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Advocate BroMenn Hospital in Normal, IL.

She was born on March 8, 1920 in Gridley, IL a daughter of Henry and Hortense Trimmer Farrell. She married Lloyd Hospelhorn on August 31, 1940. He passed away on June 17, 1987.

Surviving are one son, Leonard Hospelhorn; one daughter, Marcella (Bill) Knell both of Hudson; four grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, twenty-one great great-grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one great grandson, three great great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.

She retired from the Unit 5 School District and was a loving, farm wife.

Oma attended Hudson Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Rev. Jason Collins will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is handling arrangements for the family.
