Norman Hauser

Gridley-Norman E. Hauser, 78, of Gridley, Illinois passed away at 8:15p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Meadows Mennonite Home in rural Chenoa.

He was born on February 18, 1937 in Gridley, Illinois a son of Rudolph Frederick and Katherine Egle Hauser. He married Janet M. Witzig on November 30, 1958 at Salem Church in Gridley, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Kurt(Peggy) Hauser of Wheaton, IL; Dan(Brenda) Hauser of Leesburg, IN; one daughter, Dee (Jonathan) Edgerton of Springboro, OH; two sisters, Helen Roth of Gridley, IL; Marilyn Litwiller of Berne, IN; nine grandchildren, Drew, Melissa, Kate, Mia, Todd, Alex, Ryan, Seth, Kylie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stan Hauser.

Norman owned Hauser Service Center in Gridley for 41 years retiring on November 30, 2005.

He was a member of Salem Church in Gridley where funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Pastor Stuart Rex will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso and also from 10-10:30a.m. on Thursday at the church before the funeral services. Burial will be in the Gridley Cemetery.
