Marjorie Hill

Marjorie June Hill, 81, of Minonk, IL passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
She was born on October 7, 1936 in Danvers, IL a daughter of Lyle W. and Rachel Thacker Shepherd. She married Voyatt O'Neil Hill on March 6, 1951 in Alcorn County, MS. He passed away on December 18, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Eric Hill of Bloomington; Rick(Sandy) Hill of Meadows; four daughters, Sherri Persic of Minonk; Vickie(Richard) Carpenter of Minonk; Melissa(Christopher) Lamer of Eau Claire, WI; Brenda Hill(Bill Brink) of Oswego; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Marjorie loved raising her children and she sold Avon for over 20 years.
She was an avid Bingo player and loved her children with all her heart.
Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church of El Paso where funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018. Pastor Russ Zehr will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of El Paso. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery in rural Secor. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is handling arrangements for the family.
