Marilyn Prunty

Bloomington - Marilyn J. "Butch"
Ditchen Prunty, 77 of Bloomington, passed away at 8:35 a.m. on
September 24, 2013 at McLean County Nursing Home in
Normal.

A memorial service will be at 12:00
p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Park Methodist Church in
Bloomington.  Visitation will be from 10-12:00 p.m. before the
service at the church on Friday.  Cremation rites have been
accorded.  Memorials may be made to the family in Marilyn's
name.  Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is
assisting the family with arrangements.

Marilyn was born on May 27, 1936 in
Bloomington, a daughter of Frank and Bernice (Wells) Ditchen. She
was married to Albert "Abby" Prunty.

She leaves behind to cherish her
memory, two sons;  Donnie (Becky) Miller, James Prunty, both
of Bloomington, four daughters;  Debbie Wilder of Bloomington,
Jackie (Rick) Birckelbaw of Bloomington, Robbin (Darwin) Fannin of
Holder, Arlene (Jess) Hunter of Mackinaw, Grandchildren; Amy
Darling of Pekin, Tim Hunter of Oklahoma, Billy Wilder of
Bloomington, Tisha Miller of Colorado, Miki Wilder-Waldschmidt of
Hudson, Adam and Brett Birckelbaw of Bloomington, Nichole Wilder of
Bloomington, Brandi Johnson of Bloomington, Brittany Fannin of
Holder and Brandon Miller of Bloomington. There are seven great
grandchildren and a sister in law Tudy Ditchen of
Bloomington.

Marilyn was preceded in death by
her parents, husband, a sister, Barbara Ditchen, brothers, Jack and
Frank Ditchen, stepfather Roy DeRolf.

The family would like to extend a
special thanks to the staff at McLean County Nursing Home for their
care and support during her stay there.

She loved spending time with her
family and playing bingo, lottery tickets, watching her 'soaps',
and her dog Snickers and 4 cats.
