Secor- MacDonald F. Breach, 92, of Secor, IL passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday,September 28, 2016 at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Eureka.
He was born on November 1, 1923 in rural Secor a son of Theodore and Alice Shoup Breach. He married Irene E. Seggerman on May 17, 1944 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor. She passed away on August 19, 2012.
Survivors include two sons, Don R. (Linda) Breach; Loren D. Breach both of Secor, IL; three daughters, Julie Pepple (Sidney Gilliams) of McLean; Jean (David) Westray of Eureka; Patricia (Howard) Gerdes of Secor, IL; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Etta May Beasanson; one son, Vernon Breach, one brother, Joe, and two sisters, Pearl and Ruby.
MacDonald worked at Nestle's for over 47 years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor where he was a head usher and custodian for many years at the church. He was also a member of the Secor Sportsman's Club.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor. Rev. Michael Peters will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Secor Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
