Gridley-Lucille D. Wagner, 96, of Gridley and formerly El Paso, IL passed away at 2:45 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Flanagan Rehab and Nursing Home.
She was born on November 21, 1920 in Cissna Park, IL a daughter of Joseph and Anna
Markwalder Rudin. She married David Wagner on November 21, 1941 in Cissna Park. He passed away on August 1, 2010.
Surviving are her children, Judith (Ray) Valentine of El Paso, IL; Steven (Wanda) Wagner of Macomb, MI; Henry (Sheree) Wagner of Sun City, AZ; Celia (Doug) Harroun of El Paso, IL; Laura (Ken) Wagenbach of Kiowa, KS; one sister, Anna Marie Reutter of Roanoke, IL; twenty-one grandchildren, and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeffrey; six brothers and two sisters.
Lucille enjoyed making quilts for World Relief. She was also active as a 4-H Club leader, was past president of the PTA in Secor, and volunteered for the American Red Cross bloodmobile.
She was a member of the Gridley Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 on Monday, February 13, 2017. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso and from 9-9:45 am before the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso.
