Gridley - Lucile I. Stoller, 96, of Gridley, IL passed away at 8:40 pm on Friday February 13, 2015 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka where she was a resident.

She was born on February 26, 1918 in Cissna Park, IL to Edward and Anna Hitz Kaufmann. She married Clarence Stoller on September 1, 1946 in Cissna Park. He passed away on January 30, 1976.

Surviving are two daughters, Dixie (Earl) Ringger; Eloise Howell; two sons, Clark (Cindy) Stoller; Lynn (Elaine) Stoller; all of Gridley; twelve grandchildren, Cassie (Curt) Meiss; Peggy (Mike) Stoller; Staci (Chad) Leman; David (Kate) Ringger; Andrew Howell; Arianne (Paul) Gramm; Katrina (Kyle) Reinhard; Leah (McLane) Steidinger; Candice (Michael) Dohman; Holly (Will) Kellenberger; Natalie (Tommy) Hoerr; Wendy (Josh) Schick; 29 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, Jim Howell; three sisters, Marie Laubscher; Laurine Kaufmann; Arcelia Bauer; and one brother, Walter Kaufmann.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her kind and giving nature was always seen as she helped and served others. After the passing of her husband, Lucile started her own catering business, catering numerous wedding receptions. During her last seven years spent at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home, she was known as Grandma Lucy, and was a spiritual inspiration to many of the staff who lovingly cared for her. She left a legacy of faith in Christ, and was devoted to her family and others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lucile was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 83 years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday February 16th at the Gridley Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday at 10-11 am at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka and from 2-5 & 6-8 pm on Sunday at the Gridley Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall. Additional visitation will be held from 9-9:45 am on Monday prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in ElPaso is in charge of the arrangements.
