Gridley- Lola R. Schlipf, 94 of Gridley passed away at 11:36 p.m. on July 17, 2018 at OSF Healthcare St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Lola was a member of the Gridley Apostolic Christian Church where her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2018. Ministers of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday July 19, 2018 from 3 to 8 at Ruestman Harris Funeral Home, El Paso and for one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
Lola was born on August 27, 1923 in Pleasant Ridge Township, IL a daughter of Benjamin and Lydia Nussbaum Stoller. She married Carl Schlipf on December 30, 1956 at Forrest, IL. He died November 25, 1988.
Survivors include her three children, Richard (Kathy) Schlipf, Milford, IN, Jake (Amy) Schlipf, Gridley and Mary (Roger) Stoller, Gridley; one brother, Elmer (Rosetta) Stoller, Forrest; thirteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step mother, Anna Zimmerman Stoller, four brothers and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Sunrise Manor, Gridley or Gridley Apostolic Christian Church Building Fund.
