Linda Metz

Linda Diane Metz, 73, of El Paso died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
Linda was born on October 22, 1947 in Pontiac to Leonard and Mary Ruth Ferguson Therien. She married Richard L. Metz on January 30, 1993 in Fairbury. He passed away on October 13. 2020.
Surviving are four sons: Raymond (Sonya) Sharrow of Converse, LA, Eric (Katrina) Sharrow of Lexington, IL, Ryan (Kathe) Sharrow of El Paso, Jason (Stacey) Sharrow of Clinton, IL; two brothers: Greg (Barb) Therien of Lexington, IL, Mark (Karen) Therien of Chenoa; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friend, Renee Sisco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Sherry Killian.
Linda served her country in the U.S. Army. She worked as a dietician and cook at Fairview Haven in Fairbury which she retired from.
Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at South Side Cemetery in Pontiac. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
