Secor-Joyce Lee Foster, 71, of Secor, IL passed away at 9:16a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on April 22, 1943 in Peoria, IL a daughter of Hershel and Virginia Huffman Dodson.
Survivors include her children, Donald Dittman of Peoria; Kimberly(Joel) Tarmann of Minonk; Tina Spencer of Normal; William Volk of Lexington; Daniel(Melissa) Volk of Bloomington; Teresa(John) Moore of San Diego, CA; Randall(Ingrid) Volk of Litchfield, KY;
Tammara(James) Goff of Tulsa, OK; Walter(Diane) Walls of Pontiac; 27 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Bonnie Steimle of Greenwood, IN; Janet Taylor of Dwight; Nancy(Robert) Roberts of Litchfield, KY; one brother, Hershel Dodson of Litchfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one son, Ronald Sparks.
Joyce loved to cook, craft and crochet and most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Joyce loved her dog Tanner.
A Celebration of life service will be held from 1-4p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the El Paso Community Center. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is handling arrangements for the family. Cremation rites will be accorded.
