Jose Pablo Alvarado Hernandez

Jose “Pablo” Alvarado Hernandez, 75 years old, died peacefully on August 11, 2023 at the Accolade Nursing Home in Pontiac Illinois.

Pablo was born in San Ciro, San-Luis-Potosi, Mexico to Leopoldo Alvarado and Julia Hernandez on March 2, 1948. He is formerly of Piedras Negras, Mexico. He relocated to Fairbury, Illinois, where after his divorce, he met his dear companion, Linda Angus. She died on July 25, 2016.

Surviving family includes his sister, Teresa Alvarado, and nephew, Caesar Moran Alvarado.

He worked for US CoTronics in Fairbury as an assembler within the manufacturing division of the company.

He enjoyed making friends through work and socially in the neighborhood.

A Celebration of his life, as he is known locally, will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 5 pm at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury, IL. Cremation Rites have been accorded by the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso, IL. Pablo had a request that his final journey gets his remains back to Mexico.
