Jerry Walter

Jerry L. Walter, 64, of El Paso, IL passed away at 6:24 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

He was born on July 29, 1957 in South Bend, IN a son of George Robert and Doris Elkins Walter. He married Barbara K. Coan on April 5, 1980 in Chrisman, IL. She survives.

Survivors also include his children, Andrea Walter (Jason Matheny) of El Paso; Adrianne Walter (Robert Duran) of Secor; Joshua Lee (Samantha) Walter of Kenosha, WI; mother, Doris Walter of Montezuma, IN; two sisters, Debbie (Butch) Marlar of Montezuma, IN; Judy (Leon) Peare of Michigan; one brother, Don (Vickie) Walter of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Brody, Sadie, Kayleigh and Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jerry worked at Republic Services for 32 years.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation will be accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is handling arrangements for the family.
