Gail Bishop

Congerville- Gail R. Bishop, 58, of Congerville, IL, passed away
at 10:19 a.m., Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her home.


She was born February 21, 1956 in Beardstown, IL to Arthur L. and
Velma (Price) Harris. She married Donald "Tom" Bishop on December
16, 1973 in Pekin, IL. He survives.


Also surviving are her six children: Heidi (David) Mathews of
Eureka, Kristen (Michael) Mullins of Metamora, Jason Bishop of
Congerville, Tyler (Asako) Bishop of Deer Creek, and Matthew and
Kaitlyn Bishop both of Congerville; two sisters, Donna (James)
Griffie of Chandlerville, IL, Retha (David) Bailey of Pekin; one
brother, Brent Harris of TN and five grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eddie
Harris.


Gail was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed
spending time with her family and her beloved pets. She also loved
to garden. Gail loved to sing country music and dancing. Gail
touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.


A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014
at Deer Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Maitland will officiate.
Cremation will be accorded. Argo-Ruestman-Harris is in charge of
arrangements.
