Florence Marshall

Bloomington - Florence J. Marshall, 82, of Bloomington, formerly of Minonk, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Heartland Health Care in Normal.

Her private family inurnment will be at Minonk Township Cemetery in Minonk. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is assisting the family with arrangements.

Florence was born on November 8, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois, a daughter to John and Florence Mae McBride Gauger. She married James L. Marshall in 1954 in El Paso, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Surviving are her two sons, James T. (Connie) Marshall of Bloomington and John W. (Peggy) Marshall of Roanoke; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Stalter of Minonk; sister in-law, Esther Gauger of Minonk; Many nieces and nephews; and special neighbors, Charlie and Elaine Stephens.

In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Gauger, Jr.
