Minonk- Elma C. Fowler, 96, of Minonk, formerly of Dana, IL
passed away at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Heritage
Health Care Center in
Minonk.



She was born on October 25, 1917 in Richwood, West
Virginia.



Survivors include one daughter, Rhoda (Cecil) Vance
of Dana, IL; her grandchildren, Thomas (Reggie) Vance of Streator,
IL; Patricia (David) Lynch of Lizemore, WV; Clifford (Joanne) Vance
of Dana, IL; Linda (Terry) Moore of Pontiac, IL; Amanda Vance of
Toluca, IL; Duane (Kim) Vance of El Paso, IL; fourteen
great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.




She was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Lipscomb and
one sister, Edith
Peters.



Elma had worked in the West Virginia Laborer's
office until she was 71.  She was an avid hockey fan.



Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on
Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in
Minonk.  Rev. Scott Fulkerson will officiate.  Visitation
will be held on Friday evening from 4-7 pm at the funeral
home.  Burial will be in the Dana Cemetery.
