Edna Nauman

Edna "Eddie" Mae Nauman, 86, of Springfield, IL formerly of El Paso, IL passed away at 1:45 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born on September 10, 1928 in El Paso, IL a daughter of Harry and Martha Seaver Malcom. She married M. Carson Nauman on September 16, 1951 at the First Baptist Church in El Paso. He passed away on October 2, 2011.

Surviving are one daughter, Linda Fernandes of Springfield, IL; several nieces, nephews, great, great great, and great great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, Blair.

Edna worked as a secretary for Illinois Power Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Paso and Sherman United Methodist Church in Sherman, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Edna will be laid to rest on her husband Carson's birthday. Rev. Dr. Tim Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 am before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso.
