Devon Yoder

Toluca- Devon A. Yoder, 76, of Toluca, passed away at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his residence.

He was born February 28, 1940 in Rensselaer, IN to Levi and Sarah (Hostetler) Yoder. He married Laveille M. Fehr on September 28, 1960 in Roanoke. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2003 in Chenoa.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son Ben, and one brother Duane.

Surviving are two daughters; Sarah (Lloyd) Hart of Pinellas Park, FL, Elizabeth (Tim) Wanless of Illiopolis; one son; John Yoder of Gridley; four grandchildren, Katie (Josh) Wilson, Kristopher (Jen) Teubel, Alexis Yoder, Alyssa Yoder, Taylor Vandegraft and one great-grandson Jerimiah Wilson.

Devon was the owner and operator of Shepherdson Manufacturing for many years. He was also an auctioneer and woodworker. Devon also ran a crafts and collectibles shop in Rutland. He loved breaking, riding, and training horses, but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of his cremains will be in Gridley Cemetery.
