Gridley- Dennis R. "Denny" Giesel, 58, of Gridley passed away at 9:29 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at his residence.
Dennis was born on March 8, 1958 in Normal, IL a son of Dale R. and Rosalie Sanders Giesel. He married Marti Carr on July 16, 1980 at Funks Grove in Shirley, IL. She survives.
Survivors also include his children, Tegan Giesel of Bloomington; Hannah, Emily, Evan, Nathan, Daniel, Sam, and Kaitlin Giesel, all of Gridley; father, Dale R.(Arlene) Giesel of Normal; sister, Denise (Rick) Keist of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Giesel.
Denny was employed at Zook's Autobody in Bloomington.
He was a member of Kairos Bible Fellowship Church. He also participated in Tuesday Night Jam at McLean County Courthouse Museum. He was a devoted husband and father who invested his life and his many talents to blessing his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Pastor Don Whitman will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
