David Allan Benson, 31, of Gridley, passed away at 1:55 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1983 in Bloomington, IL to David and Gail (Turner) Benson.
David graduated from ISU earning a bachelor's degree in Finance. He was currently working as a loan servicing clerk at Flanagan State Bank in Bloomington.
David was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle and grandson. He is forever loved and has touched the lives and hearts of many.
He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, playing family games of baseball, spending time with friends and golfing. Surviving are his parents David and Gail Benson of Gridley; 3 sisters, Beth Flesher of Lexington, IL, Sarah (Mark) Anderson of Bloomington, IL, Katie Benson of Gridley, IL; nieces and nephews, Samuel, Jack and Ana Anderson and Kennedy Flesher, and his grandmother Laverne Turner of Secor, IL.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dave and Lavonne Benson and Arthur Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday May 22, 2015 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery.
