Curtis Leigh Baker passed away on May 5, 2015 at his home in El Paso, IL.
He was born on April 17, 1967 in Streator, IL to Edwin and Beverly "June" Baker of Wenona, IL. He was a graduate of Wenona High School.
Curt is survived by six siblings: Lynn (Michael) Tracy, Terrie (Ronald) Fetzer, Bonnie (Robin) Rommelfanger, Stephen (Michaela), Edward, and Eugene. He is also survived by five nephews and his two favorite nieces, Cindy and Angela.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings: Cynthia, Dale, David, Kathleen (Baker) Welch, and Michael.
Curt served his country in the Illinois National Guard for many years. He lived in the El Paso area for most of his adult life and worked construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, searching for mushrooms and asparagus, and growing his gardens.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be a private memorial service for the family. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with their arrangements.
