Bloomington - Curt S. M. Mocilan,
22 of Bloomington died at 6:15a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014
after being struck by a vehicle in rural Arrowsmith, Il.
His Memorial Service will be at
10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Vale Community Church in
Bloomington with Lead Pastor Ted Max officiating. Visitation will
be Thursday from 4- 6:00p.m. at the church.
Cremation rights have been
accorded. Memorials may be made to Mocilan Scholarship Fund, PNC
Bank. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home is assisting the family
with arrangements.
Curt was born April 17, 1991 in
Bloomington, the son of Mark M. M. Mocilan of Bloomington and
Cassandra E. Anderson of Mt. Zion, they survive. He married Erica
.A. Pollock on July 27, 2012 in Bloomington she survives.
He is survived by two sons Rylan
and Abel Mocilan both at home. Other survivors include his Mother
in Law, Elizabeth Taylor of Bloomington; his Maternal Grandparents,
Earl and Suzanne Anderson of Bloomington; a half sister, Amanda
Wells of Missouri; a half brother, Andrew Mack of Illinois and a
host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his
Paternal Grandparents, Delores, Steve Mocilan and his Uncle B. Curt
Anderson.
Curt worked with his Dad at the
Mocilan & Son Sign Company in Bloomington. His greatest love in
Life was his Family and Friends. He received his orange belt in
Martial Arts, and enjoyed being involved in The Smith Institute for
Martial Arts.
