El Paso- Connie F. Lomascolo, 72, of El Paso passed away at 5:00p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Connie was born on August 14, 1945 in Washington, Iowa a daughter of Benjamin Harold and Clara Augusta Baker Goodwin. She married Guy William Lomascolo on March 30, 1990 in Bloomington, IL. He passed away on June 21, 2010.
Survivors include one daughter, Lenette(Allen) Trantina of El Paso; one son, Eric(Wendy) Hadden of Heyworth; grandchildren, Keri(Mark) Shepherd of El Paso; Corey Hadden, Annie Hadden, Brandon Hadden and Sammi Hadden; one great-granddaughter, Madison Shepherd; one step-daughter, Lisa Lomascolo of Moline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Harold Goodwin and two great-grandsons.
Connie worked at Country Companies Insurance in Bloomington for 37 years. She sold Avon for the last 24 years receiving many awards.
She was an active member of the Hudson Christian Church, where she blessed the congregation with her food, prayers and her crocheted gifts of love. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and El Paso Women's Club.
Connie loved her children and grandchildren and adored all of them. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Pastors Brandon Current and Jason Collins will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4-7p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso.
