Jane Gramm
Gridley - Clara Jane Gramm, 85 of Gridley, went to be with the Lord at 8:31 pm on Friday June 10, 2016 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
She was born on August 8, 1930 in Moline, IL to Horace and Mayme Etherton Ellenberger. She married Herbert R. Gramm on November 6, 1949 in Gridley. They were married for 64 years before he passed away on November 3, 2014.
Surviving are her six children, Michael (Rosie) Gramm of Gridley; Jim (Lisa) Gramm of Painesville, OH; Katherine (Curt) Rassi of Tremont; Karen (Donn) Steffen of Paulding, OH; Connie (Chip) Saunders of Naples, FL; Jeanne (Troy) Schnabel of Kalamazoo, MI; one brother, Joe (Pat) Ellenberger of Kappa; 24 grandchildren; 54+ great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Larry Ellenberger, one sister, Mary Ann Carlson, and one daughter-in-law, Kathy (Brockwell) Gramm.
Jane worked for years on the farm alongside her husband and she also worked at the Flanagan Nursing Home and at Hart Carter in the accounting department. She was a quiet person who enjoyed and loved her Savior and her family very much. She was a constant prayer warrior.
She was a member of the Gridley Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday June 14th. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday at Ruestman- Harris Funeral Home in El Paso and from 9:00 - 9:45 am on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at the Gridley Cemetery.
