MINONK- Charles M. Pratt, 62, of Minonk, passed away at 3:33 AM on Monday May 14, 2018 at his residence peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be designated to the family. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is assisting the family with arrangements.
Charles was born in Peoria, Illinois on August 1, 1955 a son to Charles E. and Rosemary Wytcherley Pratt. He married Teri S. Railey in Peoria on February 16, 1974. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Charles G. Pratt, Minonk, Shonna (Mark) Colclasure, Michigan, Sara (Josh) Baker, Minonk, Holly (Michael) Koch, Lexington; 9 grandchildren, Chaylynn and Chase Pratt, Mo Supatanakij, Andrew, Elaina, and Elijah Colclasure, Alexis and Amiah Pratt, Klayton Koch; great-grandson, Oliver Wheeler; siblings, Barb Pratt, Becky (Phil) England, Theresa (Steve) Bivins, Julie (Dave) Gyorkos, John (Julie) Pratt; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Sassy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Chuck graduated from Spalding Academy in Peoria. He belonged to U.A.W. local 974 and worked for Caterpillar. He was also a local contractor for many years.
