Minonk-Berniece A. Gaede, 104, of Minonk, IL passed away at 12:48 pm on January 23, 2017 at Heritage Health in Minonk.
She was born on September 3, 1912 in West Salem, IL a daughter of Frank and Addie Dawson Davisson. She married Morris Gaede on December 4, 1931 in Dana, IL. He passed away in 1988.
Surviving are six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Billie Gaede; one daughter, Betty Pinkham; two sisters, and one granddaughter.
Berniece owned and operated the Homestead Restaurant in Minonk for 15 years. She helped her husband farm prior to that.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Minonk where she was active with the Missions Society.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk. Rev. Dr. Harry Sanders will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery.
