Becki Martin

Becki Lynne Martin, 51, of Eureka, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 4:23 a.m., on Friday, May 28, 2021, at her home.

She was born December 13, 1969 in Bloomington, IL to Lester and Ruth (Schmidgall) Martin.  She married Dean C. Martin on February 7, 1999 in Eureka.  He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Hannah, Charity, Amos, Roy, Benjamin, Josiah and Eliza; her mother Ruth Martin of Eureka, one sister, Donna (Tim) Carr of El Paso, one brother, Larry (Debbie) Martin of Flanagan, and her sister-in-law, Sharon Martin of El Paso.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester, and brother, Alan Martin.

Becki graduated from El Paso High School and Illinois State University. Before marriage, she was a bank teller and then a Patient Care Technician at OSF hospital & Nephrology Associates doctor’s office. When she married, she devoted her life to her husband and children.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. The Ministry of Zion Christian Fellowship will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home and 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services on Tuesday.

Burial will be in Centennial Chapel Cemetery in rural Secor after funeral services.

Memorials may be made to a fund being set up for the children of Becki Martin.
