Barbara Owcarz

Barbara J. Owcarz (Stansbury), 86, of El Paso, IL passed away at 8:24 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2018, at Rosewood Care Center in St. Charles IL.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband George Owcarz Jr., parents Clarence and Dorothy (Hebner) Stansbury, and brother William Stansbury.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Laura (Dave) Huizinga of Batavia, and her two grandchildren Eric and Matthew.

Barbara was an avid bowler, reader and proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member and sang many years in the choir at St. Mary's Catholic Church in El Paso.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Father John Steffen will officiate. Visitation will from 2 to 3:30 p.m. prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
