Arthur Schumm

Arthur Dale Schumm, 83, of Eureka, IL, passed away at
2:15 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Eureka Apostolic Christian
Home.


He was born April 11, 1931 in Deer Creek, IL to Henry and
Helen (Pippen) Schumm.  He married Esther Hendrickson on May
4, 1956
in Peoria.  She survives.


Also surviving are 3 sons, Kenny (Micki) Schumm of Secor,
IL, Artie (Imee) Schumm and Michael (Kendra) Schumm both of Eureka;
2 sisters Mary Morris of Chillicothe, Peggy (Jack) Carr of
Goodfield; 1 brother Harold (Lorraine) Schumm of Missouri; 5
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother
Bob.


Dale served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.


Dale was a lifelong farmer of both livestock and crop.
He also enjoyed woodworking and restoring old tractors in his spare
time.



There will be no services.  Cremation will be
accorded.  Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
