Arnold Ruestman

Arnold Dean Ruestman, 74, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 9:12 a.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon.
A private burial will be held at Minonk Township Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arnold was born on September 13, 1945 in Streator, a son to John and Alice (Benson) Ruestman. He was raised in rural Rutland. Arnold worked for Owens-Brockway Glass Containers in Streator for over 40 years.
Surviving is his sister, Barbara (Bill) Beck of Mount Vernon; nephews and nieces, Ed Beck, Tom Beck, and Tami (Mike) Kroeschen, all of Mount Vernon; and great nephews and nieces, Dalton Beck, Savannah Beck, Emmalee Kroeschen, Brayden Kroeschen, Alyssa Kroeschen, and Annabelle Kroeschen, all of Mount Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Ruestman.
