Anna M. Leman


Eureka-Anna M. Leman, 89, of Eureka, IL passed away at 4:15 am on
Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Apostolic Christian Home of
Eureka.


She was born on May 14, 1924 in Roanoke, IL to Theophilus and Rose
Belsley Minger.  She married Samuel E. Leman on July 20, 1952
in Roanoke, IL.  He passed away on February 3, 1994.


Surviving are two sons, Ben (Janet) Leman of Congerville, IL; Tim
(Beth) Leman of Morton, IL; two daughters, Cynthia Leman of Eureka,
IL; Bev (Rich) Bertschi of Eureka, IL; three sisters, Margaret
(Richard) Weber of Morton, IL; Ellen Ulrich of Eureka, IL; Rachel
(Martin) O'Malley of Chicago, IL; one brother, Michael (Sharol)
Minger of Eureka, IL; one sister-in-law, LaRae Minger of Eureka,
IL; thirteen grandchildren, Samuel (Marjorie) Bertschi, Stephen
(Susan) Bertschi, Lydia Bertschi, Leah Bertschi, Melissa (Matt)
Kaufman, Benji (Kyle) Leman, Olivia (Caleb) Zobrist, Nathaniel
Leman, Clinton (Maria) Leman, Michael Leman, TJ Leman, Nicole
Leman, Victoria Leman, and thirteen great-grandchildren, David,
Samantha, Patrick, Benjamin Bertschi; Theo, Charlie, Marie
Bertschi; Sophie, Lucy, Amelia Kaufman; Parks, Hudson, and Rome
Leman.


She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Samuel; one
sister, Ruth Hodel.


Anna was known for her kind and serving heart. She enjoyed sharing
her passion and talent for baking and cooking with others,
especially her family.  She will be remembered as a Godly
woman, a loving and faithful wife, mother and grandmother. Her joy
was being with her precious family, church and friends. She was a
blessing to all who knew her.


Anna was a member of the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church where
funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday, October 18,
2013.  Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be
held from 4-8 pm Thursday at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in
Roanoke and from 9-9:45 am  Friday,  prior to the
services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
