El Paso- Andrew G. Hoeniges, 66, of El Paso, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on February 6, 2020 at Heritage Healthcare, El Paso.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Father Robert Rayson will officiate. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso, is assisting family with arrangements.
Andrew was born June 10, 1953 in Bloomington, a son of Martin and Eileen Brown Hoeniges, Sr.
He is survived by his children: Michelle (Robert) Thurman, Towanda, Andrew (Donnelle) Hoeniges, Pontiac, Jacob (Jackie) Hoeniges, Bloomington, and Sarah (John) Recar, Normal, siblings: Martin J. Hoeniges, Jr., Bloomington, Richard J. (Gloria) Hoeniges, Bloomington, Florence A. (E. Michael) Walsh, Bloomington, Marie E. Evans, Bloomington, Patricia (Daniel) Richardson, Friant, CA, and Elizabeth (Dale) Kindred, Atlanta; also surviving are his 9 grandchildren and sister-in-law, Tammy Hoeniges, Normal.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John, and a sister-in-law, Mildred.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Healthcare for their compassionate and loving care during his days there.
Andy was a simple, quiet man, willing to serve others.
