Alice J. Savers

Alice J. Savers, 97, of El Paso, died Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Alice was born on July 9, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH, to Leonard and Carolyn Gentry Stewart. She married Emil V. Savers on November 24, 1948 in Chicago. He died on November 21, 1993.

Surviving family includes her children, Vincent C. Savers of El Paso, IL, Kenneth R. Savers of Denver, CO, Kathleen M. Malone of Denver, CO, and Kevin A. Savers of El Paso.

She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis E. Savers.

Alice worked at the Lake Road Inn in Hudson as a cook and bartender.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in El Paso, MOCA (Military Order of the Cootie Auxiliary) and VFW Women’s Auxiliary at Post #454, Bloomington.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
