Nancy Ales

EL PASO- Nancy J. Ales, 70, of El Paso, passed away at
5:30 AM on Saturday August 31, at her residence in El
Paso.

She was born on March 22, 1943 in Normal, IL the daughter of
Clarence and Carabelle Gossmeyer Carls.

She married Gerald L. "Jerry" Ales on June 12, 1960 in El Paso
and he preceded her in death in 2012.

Surviving are her children, Ronnie (Gina) Ales, El Paso; Brenda
(Ray) Ingram, Plano, TX; Terry (Linda) Ales, El Paso; Donnie Ales,
El Paso; 7 grandchildren, Gerad Ales, Jennifer (Jake) Kuehn, Jeremy
Ales, Brittany Ales, Jessica Ales, Cortney Ales, Justin Ales; 3
great-grandchildren, Adam Ales, Annabelle Kuehn, Raelyn Ales; one
sister, Phyllis (Roger) Kapraun, Benson; one brother, Richard
(Kathy) Carls, El Paso; one sister-in-law, Susan (Craig)
Bihlmayer, Germantown Hills; and her mother-in law, Ruth Ales,
Eureka.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Reilly; and a
brother, Loren "Buddy" Carls.

Nancy had worked for El Paso Telephone Company for several
years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso and a
member of the Woodford County Farm Bureau.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, listening to country music ,
playing games and puzzles with her grandchildren, and most of all
spending time with her family.

Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday September 3, at
Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso with Rev. Jonathan Boehne
officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 - 11 AM at
the church. Interment will be in Secor Cemetery immediately
following the service. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is
assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer
Society.
