Lisa Lynn Morris, 47, of El Paso, passed away at 1:51 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
Lisa was born July 26, 1967 in Peoria to Lee and Ruth Ann (Ales) Hamilton. Her parents have preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, Jordan Cody Hamilton of El Paso, 2 sisters, Eileen (Dave) Etaugh of Dunlap and Laura (Ronnie) Duke of Crofton, KY; 3 brothers, Jay Hamilton of Bloomington, IL, and Lee (Beth) Hamilton and Andy Hamilton both of El Paso; 4 half-sisters, Geannie, Kay, Tina, and Renea all of Texas; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in El Paso. Lisa worked as a CNA for 30 years in the El Paso area including El Paso Healthcare and Maple Lawn. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was a big animal lover. She will be deeply missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Chaplain Doane Brubaker will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of her ashes will be in Secor Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
