3:00 a.m.

on Monday, September 30, 2013 at his residence.


Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 at Ruestman-Harris
Funeral

Home, El Paso . Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday,

October 3, 2013 at Randolph Township Cemetery, Heyworth. Jake's
family

requests casual attire for his services. Memorial contributions
may be

directed to Bloomington Area Career Center for Automotive
Technology at

Bloomington High School.


Jake was born January 30, 1996 at Normal, IL. Surviving are
his

parents, Ray and Deb Bartosik Patterson, El Paso; biological
father Chris Bartosik, Gridley;

maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Bartosik, Heyworth,
paternal

grandmother, Marion Patterson, El Paso; brothers and sisters,
Mike

(Sarah) Patterson, Metamora, Kyle (Sarah)Patterson, East Peoria,
Mindy

(Chris) Tucker, Roanoke, Andy (Karen) Maharas, Heyworth.


He was preceded in death by his brother, Corey Bartosik and
paternal

grandfather Ray Patterson.


Jake was a senior at El Paso Gridley High School and was
attending

Bloomington Area Career Center for Automotive Technology where he
was

thriving and enjoyed classes with Mr. Otis Kindle. He was working
at

Discount Tire Center. His future plans were to become a
Marine.
