El Paso- Bonnie Arlene Weidinger, 80, of El Paso, passed away at 3:15 AM on Saturday April 18, 2015 at Heritage Health Care Center in El Paso.
She was born on the family farm in rural El Paso on November 14, 1934, a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Zimmerman Punke. She married H. Karl Poorbaugh in 1952. She later married Frank M. Weidinger. Both preceded her in death.
Surviving are her three daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Duncan, Karla (Dale) Uphoff, and Renee (Ron) Griffith, all of El Paso, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great- great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Don (Gloria) Punke, Benson.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 3 brothers; a son, Harl Kim Poorbaugh; and a grandson, Gabriel William Uphoff.
Bonnie worked for many years as a secretary. She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed crocheting and antique collecting. Bonnie attended Grace Fellowship Church in El Paso.
A private family service will be held. Tim Huckins will officiate. Interment will be in Baughman Cemetery, Minonk.
