Bonnie C. Harper


Eureka-Bonnie C. Harper, 98, of Eureka passed
away at 12:25p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Eureka Apostolic
Christian Home where she was a resident.


She was born on July 24, 1915 in Allendale,
IL to Arnie and Cora DeLoriea Gher. She married Gerald L. Harper on
May 27, 1939 in Hannibal, MO(65 years). Gerald passed away on June
25, 2004 in Eureka.


Surviving are two sons, Tom Harper of Morton,
IL; Jim(Jill) Harper of Washington, IL; two grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by one sister and
one brother


Bonnie was a member of the Eureka Christian
Church, 4 G, 20TH Century Book Club, P.E.O., Eastern
Star, American Legion Auxiliary  and a sorority mom at Eureka
College.


She graduated from Eastern IL University with
a teaching degree.


She was a loving wife and mother and all will
agree that she was one of the sweetest women on earth.


Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m. on
Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Eureka Christian Church.
Reverend Jennie Churchman will officiate. Visitation will be held
one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be
in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL. Argo-Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements for the family.
