Bonnie Brines

Bonnie L. Brines, 82, of Hudson passed away on May 26, 2019 at Heritage Health in El Paso.
She was born on June 16, 1936 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of the late Henry G. and
Caroline G. (Lampe) Sprehe. She married Richard P. Brines on June 16, 1961 in Normal, IL.
He preceded her in death on October 14, 1992.
She is survived by her children: Pamela K. (Jim) Leinen of Anaheim, CA, Michael S. (Barb)
Brines of Leon, IA; Carol S. (Larry) Kelley of Bloomington, IL, Richard P. (Dee) Brines Jr. of
Hudson, IL, Wade (Michele) Darnell of Normal, IL; 3 sisters: Karen K. McHugh of
Bloomington, Sonja S. (Butch) Arbuckle of Eureka, Cassandra A. (Chuck) Arbuckle of El
Paso; 1 brother: Henry L. (Susan) Sprehe of Tucson, AZ; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-
grandchildren.
Bonnie worked for Country Financial Insurance Company for many years as a manager. She
was a member of the Hudson United Methodist Church, Hudson United Methodist Women's
Club and choir. She enjoyed singing, loved to fish, and played numerous different musical
instruments.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday June 1, 2019 from 3pm to 4pm at the Hudson United
Methodist Church. Funeral service will start at 4pm. Reverend Dr. Curt Keller will officiate the
services. Burial will follow at the Hudson Cemetery.
