Bloomington- Tony Terrell Buck, 31,
of Bloomington, passed away at 11:25 pm on Saturday, December 17,
2011 in Bloomington. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,
December 27, 2011 at 1pm at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in
Bloomington with Pastor Brett Miley officiating. Visitation will be
held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial
Home in Bloomington from 4 to 7 pm and one hour prior to the
funeral services on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the family in Tony's name in c/o CEFCU in Bloomington. The
family of Tony has entrusted Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in
Bloomington with the care of their loved one.
Tony was born on December 9, 1980
in Chicago, to the union of James and Charlice (Young) Buck.
Survivors include a daughter, Taeja
Buck of Oklahoma City, OK, his mother: Charlice (Pharoah) Young of
Normal, maternal grandmother; Virginia Young of Normal, maternal
grandfather, James Bannister of Chicago; his siblings, Tyree
(Kristen) Buck of Normal, Charlice (Anthony) Buck of Bloomington,
Michael Young of Normal, Gwendolyn Young of Normal, a
sister-in-law: Misty Kocar of Peoria. Also surviving is Tony's
fiancée Pepper Falatko of Bloomington, along with stepchildren:
Carter, Christian, and Carlie Falatko all of Bloomington;
additional stepchildren, Marquis, Lakien, Ajah all of Oklahoma
City: Tony's nieces and nephews, Antranise Hardnett, Garrett Kocar,
Talon Donalson, Zalia Donalson, Anthony Buck, and Tyree Buck, Jr.
His favorite aunts Rochelle Young, Joann Young and Gwendolyn Young,
also survives along with a host of other aunts, uncles, and
cousins, including Rosie Derring.
He was preceded in death by his
father, one brother and his maternal great grandfather, and his
maternal and paternal great-grandmothers.
During his childhood he grew up in
Stateway Gardens and attended Roberson High School in Chicago
He started working as a porter for
the Acura Car Dealership in Hoffman Estates, IL then soon begun his
work in construction installing siding and doing roofing jobs.
Tony was an avid basketball, and
football fan, he enjoyed playing video games, listening to music,
and also enjoyed drawing. Tony was very family oriented and enjoyed
family outings. He was a member of the drum line and basketball
team during school. Tony was a great achiever in school earning
many awards for sports and academics.He especially loved his
friends : Edwin, Kim Nat Nat, TK, and C Love.Tony was very adamant
about only letting his brother Tyree cut his hair for him. He also
had a great love for his moms meatloaf and mac and cheese. He will
be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Tony was raised by his grandmother
who he loved to death. She raised him from a boy to a man with the
help and love of his mother who also was around. He loved to listen
to dusties on the weekend with his grandmother. He loved her
pork-n-beans and hot dogs. He also loved his father very much and
he was very close to him and spent many summers with him. He loved
his sister Lil C very very very very much. He loved spending time
with his step kids during family outings, and loved going to
Carlie's basketball games and never missed a game. And never
allowed a woman to carry anything. The first day he met Pepper he
said he was going to marry her. Through the good times and bad
every day has made them closer and stronger.
