Terri L. Armstrong Hamilton

El Paso- Terri L. Armstrong Hamilton, 47, of El Paso, IL passed away at 3:48 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal,IL.

She was born on March 3, 1964 in Bloomington, IL a daughter of Logan R. and Bonnie Gossmeyer Armstrong. She married Richard Hamilton on July 22, 1988 in Secor, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Andrea Hamilton, Brandy Hamilton both of El Paso, IL; Ashley Hamilton of Peoria, IL; three grandchildren, Nathan and Hailey Hartwell, Alyssa Sturgeon, her mother, Bonnie Armstrong of El Paso, IL; one brother, Tom (Holly) Armstrong of El Paso, IL; one sister Tracy (Matt) Alsman of Bloomington, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Logan and one grandson, Coby Logan James Hamilton.

Terri worked as a nurse for many years at El Paso Health Care Center where she touched many people's lives.

Her grand babies were her world. She also enjoyed fishing, scrap-booking, photography, trips to Branson, and going to garage sales.

She was a loving daughter, mom, nana, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso followed by a graveside service at Secor Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Pastor Shelly Forrest will officiate. The family requests casual attire.

She had a heart of gold!!I had lost track of her but always knew the general area she was in. Shw was one of our babysitters years ago. I seen her about 12 months ago.
