Stephen Mearl Garrison

Cabot, AR-Stephen Mearl Garrison age 68 of Cabot, AR, went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was lovingly adopted on July 13, 1944 in Varna, Illinois by the late Mearl and Emma Mae Garrison.

He is survived by his loving wife Sharron Garrison of the home, his daughter, Jennifer Kay Garrison of Clarksville, Tennessee, and one brother James Garrison of Washington, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a retired United States Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion, holding several offices in Illinois, Minnesota, and in Arkansas. Mr. Garrison loved his country and the American Legion. He also enjoyed playing golf. 

Visitation in Arkansas will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.

Services in Illinois will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday July 27, 2012 at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon; interment will follow at the Lacon Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday July 26, 2012, also at Lenz Memorial Home.
