Shirley L. Springer
Washington - Shirley L. Springer, 75, of Washington, IL passed
away on Saturday January 7, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in
Peoria, Illinois. She was born June 12, 1936 in Bloomington, IL to
Virgil and Eva Builda Bradle. She married Howard D. Springer on May
27, 1957 in Eureka, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Springer of Peoria; Brian
(Michelle) Springer of Metamora; and two grandchildren, Ashley and
Nicholas Springer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin brother,
Stanley Bradle.
A homemaker, Shirley did seasonal work for 25 years at
Libby's.
Shirley was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Mennonite Church
in Washington where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on
Wednesday January 11, 2012. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on
Tuesday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from
9:30 - 10:30 before the services at the church on Wednesday. Burial
will be at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka.
